The Commando EZ-2500 is a simple yet very effective remote starter with keyless entry. It can only be used on fuel-injected automatic transmission cars, and the keyless entry works with negative door lock outputs; positive outputs need to purchase the optional DLR (Door Lock Relay) module, which costs under $7. The EZ-2500 comes with a pair of three-channel transmitters and a receiver that learns the transmitter codes for enhanced safety.

The EZ-2500 system can be programmed to start the engine every few hours for a preset amount of time to prevent the engine from freezing, as well as to recharge the battery, and it can be selected to run for either 12 or 24 minutes.
