The CD changer market has been shrinking lately, but with its ProAudio DCZ625, Clarion continues to demonstrate the benefits of a quality changer. The DCZ625 is a six-disc changer designed to handle the rigors on the road. It will work with all Clarion receivers with the letter "Z" in the model number.

The DCZ625 has a spring-loaded suspension system that tracks very well in most conditions, and it can be mounted at a variety of angles, up to 120 degrees. The changer has a zero-bit detector that ensures that there will be no extraneous noise between tracks on a disc. The DCZ625 is compatible with CD-R/RW, but unfortunately not MP3 or other digital audio files burned to disc. The frequency response is 5Hz to 20,000Hz, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 105dB.

A 16-foot connection cable is included, so there will be plenty of length if the changer is installed in the trunk of a vehicle. The ProAudio DCZ625 is a terrific way to expand the listening options of a compatible Clarion head unit.
