Cingular 8125 PDA Phone
Date Published: 2/22/07
This quad-band PDA phone boasts several features for people who need versatility and high-end performance. The 8125 has a 200Mhz processor, 64MB of ROM, and 128 MB of RAM. The 1.3 megapixel camera takes decent quality pictures and video, which can be stored on the mini-SD card (not included) or sent via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mini-USB, or the high-speed EDGE network. Meanwhile, the 8125 also supports Windows Media for listening to MP3s and viewing videos. The 2.8-inch-diagonal screen is large and provides good clarity and brightness. But probably the most appealing feature of this PDA phone is that behind the screen is a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out (while the screen flips to landscape mode).
The 8125 is rather large, but those doing a lot of messaging and e-mailing will find it very comfortable to use. It can also receive e-mail in real time. The major drawback of the model, however, is the voice quality for calls. But battery life is better than most PDAs, providing about 5 hours of talk time and 7 days of standby. Overall, this is a good product for the busy professional.
Pros: QWERTY keyboard, quad-band, large screen
Cons: Size, call quality, memory card not included
