Chicco Cortina Stroller
Date Published: 6/5/07
The Chicco Cortina Stroller is a mid-priced stroller with plenty of comfort and convenience features.
We like its one-hand fold feature, as well as its unique "memory" recline. When you unfold the stroller, the seat returns to the last recline position. The seat can recline to several positions, including a flat position. This is ideal for infants and napping babies or toddlers. The Cortina has a leg rest that can be adjusted to one of three positions for a customized fit. It also has a large, reversible canopy -- and we find this adequately blocks the sun, wind or other offending elements that might disturb the Cortina's passenger.
The Cortina has dual wheels on front, and single wheels on back. We like the fact that the front wheels swivel, but wish all the wheels were larger. Larger diameter wheels would certainly make it easier to push the stroller over uneven terrain or bumpy surfaces. We do, however, appreciate the stroller's all-wheel suspension. This suspension system helps provide a smooth ride. The Chicco Cortina Stroller doesn't skimp on comfort features. It has cup holders for both parent and child, as well as a large storage basket.
During testing, the Chicco Cortina's young passenger seemed comfortable and secure in the stroller's five-point harness. The seat is well padded, and this only adds to the comfortable ride. The Cortina is compatible with Chicco infant car seats (not included), and the addition of the car seat would allow one to instantly convert the stroller into a complete travel system.

Cons: Small wheels
