The Chantal 7-Piece Stainless-Steel Cookware SL-7-BRS features elegant brushed 18/10 stainless-steel exterior surfaces, sturdy handles that are permanently welded in place, and clear tempered glass lids. The base of each pan contains an encapsulated aluminum disk, which transfers heat quickly and evenly throughout the cooking surface. The 1/4-inch-thick flat disk also resists warping and is suitable for most stovetops.

The 7-piece set comes with 1.5 quart and 3-quart saucepans with lids, a 6-quart Dutch oven with lid, and a 10-inch non-stick omelette pan. Each of the pans has gently sloped sides and a flared rim for easier pouring. The pans have an interesting open handle design, which is essentially a long strip of stainless-steel that extends out from the pan about 7.5 inches, bends around and back forming one long "loop." The design allows air to flow around (and through) the handle keeping it cool to the touch. The ends of the metal loop are securely welded to a raised metal plate, which allows for an air pocket between the handle and the side of the pan, adding to the stay-cool effect.

The omelette pan features a Silverstone Select finish, which makes it ideal for any type of stovetop chores where nonstick cooking is desirable. The surface is guaranteed not to peel, chip, crack, or bubble under normal cooking conditions. The stainless-steel cookware is oven and broiler safe as well as dishwasher safe; however, pans with a Silverstone nonstick finish should not be exposed to high heat.
