Although intended primarily for a mid-sized SLR camera (with bulky lens attached) carried while suspended on a soft padded hammock support with the lens pointed down, the Case Logic SLRC-2 can also carry other similar sized cameras. It's a bit different in design and construction than other SLR bags we have seen and reviewed. A moderate-sized zippered cover over the middle of the bag top opens to gain access to the SLR inside rather than having a full length top flap. For accessories (model can hold up to three bulky accessories) there is a moderate-sized zippered pocket on each side, large enough for a small zoom lens or hot shoe flash unit. On the front, back, and inside the top are zippered mesh storage pockets. The exterior zippers have unusually large rubber-like pull tabs. An orange stretchable cord on the top and bottom add color accents on the black bag. A webbing carry handle on the top and a padded removable shoulder strap provide two methods for carrying the bag. The bottom of the bag is formed and impact-resistant stiffened for protection of the contents. It seems to be very well assembled and looks like it should be durable.
