The Capresso Infinity Grinder uses commercial-grade solid steel conical burrs and a high resolution motor to grind beans slowly and with precision, whether you are seeking a coarser grind (percolator-style) or a very fine grind (espresso or Turkish fine). Because it relies on less friction and heat, the gear reduction motor preserves the coffee’s flavor and aroma. Available in polished or brushed chrome or black, the grinder comes with a removable clear plastic 8.8-ounce bean chamber with cover, removable ground coffee receptacle, heavy-duty motor base, coffee measuring scoop, and soft cleaning brush. There are 16 grind settings--probably more than you’ll use in a lifetime of coffee drinking; however, the discriminating coffee drinker is sure to find his/her precise grind along the dial. Choose from extra fine, fine, medium, and coarse, each with four variations. To start grinding, you simply turn the timer dial to one of ten settings. The grinder will operate for up to 60 seconds, depending on the coarseness selected. When the timer reaches zero, grinding stops automatically. If you need to stop grinding earlier, you can turn the bean container to the non-grind setting. A safety lock mechanism prevents the grinder from operating without the bean container in place.
