The Capresso Elegance Therm Coffee Maker 437 is a stylish unit with a thermal carafe that keeps brewed coffee hot for hours. Designed completely in black or white plastic, the Elegance Therm has a number of desirable features, including a programmable clock/timer, digital display, removable water tank and optional water filtration system. The unit stands just under 14-inches tall, 7.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep.

The triple insulated carafe holds 8 cups and has a vacuum glass liner and tight-sealing lid that locks in steam to keep coffee hot (approximately 160 degrees Fahrenheit) and fresh for up to four hours. The programmable clock lets you preset the exact brew time desired. The unit will initiate brewing at the specified time and then shut itself off once brewing is completed. If you want coffee right away, there is also a pushbutton to start brewing automatically.

Other features include the water filtration system, which uses a replaceable charcoal filter to remove chlorine taste and improve water quality; a swing-out filter holder with permanent gold-tone cone-shaped filter; a drip stop, which lets you pour a cup before brewing has finished; a cord-storage area; and a handy coffee measuring scoop.

The carafe also has a dripless spout for easy pouring. Another plus is the fact that the unit is fast and extremely quiet when brewing. A full pot takes less than 8 minutes to brew. Indicator lights signal when the auto brew is activated and stay on while brewing.
