The Pixma MP450's print function is its most impressive feature. It can print at speeds up to 22 ppm in black and 17 ppm in color. You can print a 4x6-inch borderless photo in just under a minute. The Pixma MP450's maximum resolution is 4800x1200 dpi in color, but the top resolution for black (600x600) is below average. You can print directly from memory cards by using the device's 1.9-inch LCD to preview the photos.

The unit's other features cannot match the print function. The Pixma MP450's copier operates at speeds up to 22 ppm for black and 17 ppm for color. You can resize the original at between 25 and 400 percent. With this multifunction device, you can scan at an optical resolution up to 1200x2400 dpi.
