The unit's printer can run at speeds up to 20 ppm and at outstanding resolutions up to 2400 by 600 with laser-print sharpness.

When faxing with the MFC-7820N, you can send documents at speeds up to 30ppm. The device's scanner can operate at an optical scan resolution up to 600 by 2400dpi.

The MFC-7820N's copier works on a flatbed surface and can run at speeds up to 20ppm. You can reduce or enlarge the copy at 25 to 400 percent of the original. The MFC-7820N has a 35-page automatic document feeder for handling large documents.

It comes equipped with 32 Mb of memory and connectivity via parallel port, USB, and Ethernet. We should mention that because it's a laser device, the MFC-7820N cannot print in color, but that is one of its very few drawbacks.

All in all, the Brother MFC-7820N is a reliable device that can run up to 10,000 pages per month.
