The MFC-440CN can send faxes at speeds up to 10 ppm, and it can hold up to 400 pages in its 32MB of memory. The copier runs at speeds up to 18 ppm in "Draft" mode, and you can resize original documents at between 25 and 400 percent. The MFC-440CN also includes a 10-page automatic document feeder, which is handy for copying and faxing multiple-page documents.

Although the unit's other features are adequate, it's the MFC-440CN's printer that will provide the greatest benefits, especially for photo printing.
