Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System CKFF-100

The Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System CKFF-100 is designed for ease of use and gives you healthier, better tasting water directly from your tap.
The CKFF-100 is a faucet-mount model designed for use in the kitchen. The compact, horizontal design screws onto most kitchen faucets quickly and without any special tools. If you have a spray head faucet, this unit will not work on your faucet.
One of the great benefits of the Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System is that you never need to charge the filter. The system is effective for an entire year or up to 300 gallons. Once the time is up, you simply unscrew it and throw the entire unit away. Because it lasts as long as three regular faucet mount replacement filters, you actually create far less waste then you would with bulky cartridge filters.
The Faucet Mount System is compact and unobtrusive. Its 4-inch cylinder sits under the faucet so it's out of the way. The chrome and black housing blends well with similarly styled kitchen faucets. Once attached, the unit can be set to dispense regular unfiltered water through a traditional aerator, or filtered water. A lever on the right side of the unit can be adjusted back and forth to let you switch between filtered and unfiltered water. We found the lever helpful and although it slid smoothly from one position to the other, it required a firm push to do so.
Another handy feature is the status light, which is activated upon installation by removing a plastic packaging strip. The status light indicates when the filter unit should be replaced. A steady red light alerts you when the filter is expired. A steady green light lets you know the filter is working properly. When the light begins to blink red, you know that the filter should be replaced soon.
The Brita Disposable Faucet Filtration System removes 99.99 percent of microbial cysts and reduces lead, asbestos, mercury and chlorine in your tap water for an entire year. The secondary layer in the multi-stage filter traps sediment as well.
Pros: Disposable filter never needs replacing, removes chlorine, sediment and contaminants
Cons: None
