The Breadman Ultimate Bread Maker is part of the Breadman Professional Series. This machine knows no limitations. It has 110 built-in program settings, plus the ability to create a custom program. This unit comes with a traditional horizontal-shape nonstick loaf pan and kneading paddle, hinged lid with viewing window, and easy-to-use touchpad control panel. To use, select a basic cycle (white, whole wheat, French, Fruit & Nut, Batter Bread/Cake, or Personal Recipe). Next, choose a loaf size (1-pound, 1-1/2-pound, or 2-pound) and crust color (light, medium, or dark). Press the start button. Depending on the cycle selected, the Breadman Ultimate begins a series of kneading, rising, and /or baking steps. Total bread making time ranges from 3 hours for basic white bread to 4 hours for whole wheat bread. Rapid bread cycles are completed in about 2 hours. Other functions include Jam, Dough only, and Bake only. This unit also features a timer, which allows you to delay baking up to 24 hours; a patented "X-tras" dispenser for adding dried fruit or nuts; a pause function for shaping specialty loaves; a reset button, which allows you to reset the Delay Bake setting or cancel the program in progress; and 60-minute keep warm and power failure backup functions.
