From its Impressions Collection, the Braun HT600 toaster combines corrosion-resistant brushed stainless steel with black side and bottom accents that add sleek elegance to its modern, unconventional design.

A single top slot, 1-1/2 inches wide and 10 inches long, accommodates two standard bread slices, three French bread slices, or both halves of a bagel positioned end to end. Interior wire racks hold slices in place during toasting and are hinged only at the bottom flexibly allowing for varying widths of bread (0.4 inch to 1.4 inches).

The toasting lever is positioned on the front edge along with a seven setting browning control knob (which includes a bread warming setting), a lighted red power indicator, top pushbutton defrost, and reheat and manual stop switches.

Also included is a 12-inch bread or bun warming rack, which fits easily atop the warming slot and works especially well for lightly toasting hamburger and/or hotdog buns without over crisping them. Additional features include a slide-out crumb tray, cool-touch exterior, and bottom cord storage.

Long and slim, measuring 16 inches from front to back, the Braun HT600 requires a mere 6-1/2-inch-wide strip of countertop with its slender, eye-catching oblong shape.
