The Black & Decker Slice-Right Electric Knife Kit EK700K comes with a slim power handle, a two-piece 9-inch serrated knife set, an 11-inch fork and a plastic storage case. The white, plastic casing on the power handle is accented by a gray, notched, soft-touch oval strip on the top, which provides a non-slip surface for worry-free use. With the cutting blades locked in position on the handle, the knife is activated by pressing a long power bar on the underside of the handle. A safety lock lever prevents accidental starts while inserting or removing the blades.

The serrated blades slide back and forth, alternating so one blade advances while the other retracts. This motion is very efficient for slicing all types of beef, poultry, ham or pork, as well as cheese and loaves of bread and other baked foods.
