These same features also allowed us to prune a wide hedge. In addition, the long blade made the cutting go more quickly than it would have with a shorter blade. Because it uses dual-action blades, the unit vibrates far less than single-action units. We think that's another reason we were able to use the unit without undue fatigue. We also liked the convenience of plug-and-go of the electric unit.

The hardened steel blades of this HedgeHog should stay sharp through several uses. The pigtail cord helps keep the extension cord securely attached. A lock-on switch allows for continuous cutting and a lock-off switch prevents accidental starting.
