BebeSounds Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor AC201

For nearly the same price as other monitors in its class, the Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor does twice the work.
Like other monitors, the Angelcare Movement Sensor relays a baby's sounds via a portable parent unit, yet also alerts parents if a baby has become perfectly still while sleeping. A sensor pad, which easily slips under a crib mattress, tracks frequent movements. If a baby is still for more than 20 seconds, an alarm sounds to alert parents.
In addition, the monitor can be used in optional "tic" mode. Using this method, parents will hear a continuous ticking as baby moves. If the sensor pad stops detecting movement, the ticking stops.
It is important to note that for the sensor pad to work correctly, it must be placed on a hard surface. For some cribs, this means adding a flat, thin board or a piece of masonite under the mattress (note: You can order masonite directly from BebeSounds).
Most parents of preemies or babies with life-threatening conditions will likely opt for professional-grade movement monitors, but for parents who fall into the "worried and curious" category, BebeSounds Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor AC201 is a great way to keep tabs on a sleeping infant.
