A machine dedicated to the needs of the advanced seamstress, this model represents the first time serging can be done with up to eight threads. Also doubling as a coverstitch machine, the New Evolve is the first serger to allow you to chain off a coverstitch. You can even combine chain and overlock stitches to create an eight-thread chain. 87 different stitches including the Baby Lock Wave stitch are available for limitless uses and can be created by combining these stitch types.
Self-threading, the New Evolve offers effortless Jet-Air threading, a feature that quickly threads all eight spools in any order. Equipped with automatic tension and differential feed, puckering and the need to frequently adjust tension are virtually eliminated. In addition to all these revolutionary conveniences, Babylock's New Evolve continues to offer all the outstanding features you would expect from a high-end serging machine.
Flat-locking, rolled hems, and sewn edge and trimmed seams are flawless. Stitch widths can be adjusted from 1.5 to 7.5 mm and up to 16 mm for the combination Expressive stitches.
