A nifty little upright freezer, the Avanti VM799W is just over 5 feet tall and less than 2 feet wide, but still packs in 7.5 cubic feet of freezer space. Although this freezer has no door storage at all, it maximizes the storage space in the main compartment. This model has six transparent drawers that can be removed entirely. You can actually take out one drawer, load it with frozen foods, and easily replace the entire drawer in the freezer. Because the drawers are see-through, you can easily see the contents inside.

Although the Avanti VM799W is a manual defrost unit, you'll find the periodic defrosting a snap, since all you need to do to remove all the contents of your upright freezer is pull out the six drawers and replace them when you've finished the defrost detail. If you have an oversized item to store in your freezer, you can simply remove one of the other drawers to accommodate the larger item. This upright model also has a fast-freeze shelf, a power-on light, and an alert light that illuminates if the temperature inside rises above the freezing level.
