The Audiovox CE156MP is a good choice for anyone looking for an inexpensive portable CD player that also has MP3 playback capabilities. The CE156MP is compatible with audio CD and CD-R/RW, and it can play MP3 files stored on recordable CD. Keep in mind that it does not support WMA files.

The CE156MP has an anti-skip protection system that provides up to 45 seconds of memory buffer when playing back a CD and up to 120 seconds when playing MP3 files burned to disc. The unit has all the basic playback features, including a programmable memory, shuffle play and repeat.
