AT&T 992 Two-Line Corded Speakerphone
Date Published: 12/15/06
This two-line corded speakerphone from AT&T is designed with a home office in mind. The 982 has 24 locations in its memory, accessible with one- or two-touch dialing, and each location stores up to 24 digits. The speakerphone has good volume, but call clarity is not particularly robust.
Another drawback of the 982 is its programming. In order to get the two lines to function in an intuitive way, you have to read the manual and reset a few features. Otherwise, this product is fairly straightforward. Other features include: 3-way conferencing, caller ID, message waiting indicator, data port, mute, and hold.
Pros: two lines, one-touch speed dialing
Cons: poor ergonomics, tinny speakerphone
