Probably the best feature of this phone is that it does not need electricity, making it a good option for people worried about power outages. However, the phone does require four AA batteries. Clarity for both the handset and the speakerphone isn't exceptional (the microphone for the speakerphone is fairly weak), but performance is reasonable given the price.
