Aqua-Golf

Aqua-Golf is a simple concept that gives new meaning to the term "island hole." If you have a pool, you can practice your golf game in a novel and challenging way.
Made entirely in the United States, Aqua-Golf consists of a golf "green" with movable flag. As the name implies, the green actually floats in your pool, providing a challenging practice target. Constructed from a 1/2-inch piece of foam and topped by durable artificial turf, the kidney-shaped green measures approximately 3x5 feet at its widest points. The package also includes an 18x24-inch chipping mat and a dozen Velcro-covered Wiffle practice golf balls. You must supply your own golf clubs.
Aqua-Golf proves to be both challenging and fun. The balls don't react quite like regular golf balls, but they do fly nicely when struck with a typical pitching swing. When the balls land on the green, the Velcro quickly grabs the turf to give a clear indication of your accuracy.
The practice balls have stripes of different-color Velcro tape wrapped around them in an X. You can hit all of the balls yourself for practice or divvy up the balls and play closest to the pin with family and friends. To add an extra challenge, you can purchase the Sand Trap set, which is essentially two 15 x 35-inch foam pieces covered with tan turf. The sand-trap pieces attach to the main green with tethered Velcro straps.
Aqua-Golf uses quality materials and should last for a number of years with proper care. You can purchase replacement Wiffle balls, nylon flags and other accessories from the manufacturer at www.aqua-golf.com. If you have a pool and can't get enough golf, Aqua-Golf is for you.
