American Range AROFG-30 30-inch gas wall oven
Date Published: 4/18/08
With the addition of the AROFG-30 gas wall oven, American Range continues to capitalize on the trend of bringing restaurant cooking equipment into the home. Like their range products, this 30-inch oven is of the highest quality and, as expected, priced accordingly.
The most exciting feature of the AROFG-30 is its dependent dual doors. Open the handled left door and the right door follows. A convenience that restaurant chefs are used to, this system allows you to open both doors with just one hand while balancing a baking sheet in the other. And when the doors open to a full 130 degrees, you'll be amazed to see just how wide an opening is created. With such a vast opening, you will have plenty of room to load even the largest turkey or ham.
The benefits of this unusual door system don't stop simply with easy loading and unloading. Even when opened 90 degrees into the room, the doors extend only 15-1/4 inches into the kitchen. This leaves an additional 5 to 7 inches more room to work with in your kitchen design. The extra room may allow the space you need to add central design elements to your kitchen -- such as tables, islands, peninsulas or other desirable work spaces.
With American Range's gas oven you can expect outstanding performance as well as
novel design solutions. This oven features Innovection, the manufacturer's innovative system that utilizes not one but two convection fans. One fan circulates within the oven, while the other circulates heat from under the oven and returns it to the oven. The result is more even heat distribution, with a 2 percent savings in gas usage and an average preheat time of just 7-1/2 minutes.
The American Range AROFG-30's other features include a restaurant-powerful 30,000-Btu bake element and a 15,000-Btu infrared-type, Inconel banquet broiler element. The cavity has a substantial capacity of 4.7 cubic feet and is equipped with two bright halogen lights and three baking racks.
A ground-breaking addition to the category of gas ovens, this product is vastly different from anything that has previously been available to the residential market. With cheap, mass-produced, inferior ovens long populating this segment, American Range's 30-inch model is sure to find an eager audience.
