Amerex's Halotron I Fire Extinguisher 397 is well suited for home or commercial offices with expensive electronic equipment. It's approved by the EPA as a "clean agent" extinguisher, as its discharge leaves behind no residue.
The 397 is a UL-rated 1A:10B:C extinguisher suitable for most types of fire, including trash, chemical, and electrical. It has a range of 9 to 15 feet and discharges in about 9 seconds.
The Halotron I Fire Extinguisher 397 incorporates Amerex's new electronic monitoring system for the ultimate in peace of mind. If the pressure in the extinguisher drops below the required level or if the extinguisher is removed from its bracket, a signal is sent to an alarm. The sensor module is battery-powered (9-volt alkaline) and mounts to the outside surface of the wall. The unit can interface (wired or wireless) with most brands of security and fire systems.
