Amerex's Halotron I Fire Extinguisher B394TS is ideal for home and commercial offices with sensitive electronic equipment, such as computers and home entertainment systems. It is even approved by the FAA for aircraft, and by the EPA as a "clean agent" extinguisher.
The discharge, a rapidly evaporating fluid agent (HydroChloroFluoroCarbon), leaves behind no powder residue. Nor will it conduct electricity back to the operator. In addition, it has a low ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a low global warming potential (GWP). The B394TS is a UL-rated 5B:C extinguisher suitable for class flammable liquid and electrical fires. It extinguishes flames by cooling and smothering them.
The Amerex Halotron I Fire Extinguisher B394TS contains 5.5 pounds of agent, has a range of 9 to 15 feet, and discharges in about 9 seconds. The unit comes with a double-strap bracket.
