The Amana ACD2234H is a smart looking refrigerator with all the luxury features you'd expect from a quality, counter-depth built-in refrigerator. And it comes with a relatively small price tag for an upscale refrigerator.

This model is a side-by-side built-in fridge that holds 21.6 cubic feet of foods--13.6 cubic feet in the main compartment and 8.0 cubic feet in the freezer. It runs on 650 kWh of power annually.

The inside features of this fridge are solid and there are some extras that you'll find as a welcomed surprise. There are four glass shelves with a spillsaver feature (three of which are adjustable and one that's fixed), two humidity-controlled crispers, and a dual-purpose meat/snack drawer. The fresh foods compartment door has four bins, a dairy keeper, and a nifty Beverage Chiller compartment and Mini-Chiller compartment that keep drinks up to 5 degrees F colder than the rest of the refrigerator.

The freezer has two wire shelves and two slide-out wire baskets, and the door has two bins/shelves that tilt out. For those who like cold water and ice to be very accessible, this model has a through-the-door ice and water dispenser that works with an integral water filter. It is long enough to accommodate tall glasses and containers, and it also has a child lockout to prevent little hands from getting into mischief with the water and ice dispenser. Amana's ACD2234H comes in a choice of white, bisque, black, or stainless steel.

Even though the Amana ACD2234H holds plenty of food and is a counter-depth unit, it doesn't have an imposingly tall or large appearance.
