This is an impressive piece of engineering. Its advanced digital technology is surprising to find in an analog product. The CT-05D features autoreverse on both transports, and both have recording capabilities. The system uses Dolby B/C noise reduction, with Dolby HX Pro headroom extension. It made a wonderful recording from an external tuner when the MPX filter was applied. It also has a CD Synchro start, relay play, and a music search program.
