DESC: Marmot's lightweight and highly compressible Streamline Jacket is a rugged version of Marmot's popular PreCip Jacket. This is a perfect packable choice for hikers and climbers who spend as much time on a trail as they do making their own way. The fabric is made from Marmot's PreCip polyurethane, a microporous polyurethane barrier that's impregnated with silicon dioxide particles that allow the passage of tiny vapor molecules but block the penetration of the larger liquid-form version. Other microporous fabric designs are often plagued by inconsistent sizing which creates damp spots, but the silicon dioxide particles create a uniform consistency throughout the garment to help keep you dry everywhere. The Streamline has a mesh lining and PitZips beneath the sleeves for convenient venting. The attached hood neatly rolls into the collar when not in use and the entire jacket stuffs into a compact zippered internal pocket.
